| Brief Introduction of Prof. Dr. Jiancheng LI: Professor Li Jiancheng is a member of Chinese Academy of Engineering. He is now the dean of School of Geodesy and Geomatics, Wuhan University. He graduated from Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping in July, 1987 and obtained his doctor degree in June, 1993. He has served the following positions: Satellite gravity theory research group members, International Association of Geodesy, Member of the Earth Gravity Field Model Evaluation Group,International Association of Geodesy, Deputy Director of the Professional Committee of Surveying and Mapping, China Geodetic Academy, Guest editors of Chinese Science Bulletin and Deputy Director of National Steering Committee for the teaching of surveying and mapping. Professor Li Jiancheng’s research fields cover Geophysical Geodesy, Satellite Geodesy, Satellite Altimetry, Surveying. He has solved a lot of tough questions in the field of earth gravity field theory and its engineering application and thus formed an original theoretical and technological system. Professor Li Jiancheng has published over 120 theses and 4 books. He has won the following awards: National Outstanding Contribution of Young Experts, The Sixth National Youth Science and Technology Award, The Fifth National Outstanding Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award, Guanghua Award for Engineering Science and Technology (The Fifth Award For Youth), Guanghua Award for Engineering Science and Technology (The Fifth Award For Youth, Key talent for the New Century National talents Project.
